At the end of the year, the annual selection activities such as the Tangsong Big Data 2024 China Steel Industry Network Enterprise Selection, the "My Steel" National Steel Trade Top 100 Selection and the Lange Steel Network Gold Supplier Selection have all come to an end. In the above selections, SUMEC-ITC was shortlisted for the "2023 National Steel Trade Enterprise Comprehensive List Top 100" and "2024 Top Ten Steel Comprehensive Trading Enterprises", and won the honorary titles of "Top 30 Cold Rolled Coating and Plating" and "Top 30 Hot Rolled Coil". This is the eleventh time that SUMEC-ITC has been shortlisted for the "Top Ten Steel Comprehensive Trading Enterprises", and it is also the first time that it has won a "single medal" in the steel product sub-industry, which is a recognition and affirmation of SUMEC-ITC's steel supply chain service capabilities.

In recent years, with the continuous deepening of China's supply-side structural reform, the concentration of the steel industry has increased, but there are still multiple challenges such as supply and demand imbalance, disorderly competition, environmental pressure and trade barriers. As the core business of SUMEC-ITC, the steel business has played a core role in maintaining the company's operating income scale. From January to November 2024, SUMEC-ITC operated 7.6 million tons of domestic steel trade and exported 2 million tons, with the total scale basically the same as the same period last year, maintaining stable operations in a complex and changing international environment and fierce market competition.
